Who is the Most Coutureable this Week?

To celebrate the Queen’s 60 years on the throne, Kate Middleton wore an adorable red Alexander McQueen dress alongwith her favourite LK Bennett pumps in nude, a Sylvia Fletcher fascinator and a stunning Alexander Mcqueen clutch sans skull clasp.

Kim Kardashian was out and about in her McQueen dress paired with a gorgeous pair of Christian Louboutin ‘Lady Daf’ snakeskin platform pumps, an Erikson Beamon necklace and a Jimmy Choo ‘Candy’ clutch.

While they both stood out in their respective ways and despite the fact that I’m not big on the colour red, my love for fascinators makes Kate win this round for me.

Who wins this round for you?

What more can one ask for but a statement cuff in a bold shade. This Emilio Pucci Plexiglass and Crystal Cuff is set to bring life to any outfit. The stunning purple crystals on top perfectly gel with the pink nature of this cuff.

The cuff retails for around $990 but you can grab your hands on it on a 50% off price tag of $495 here! Net-A-Porter is down to its final reductions so hurry while you can.

I suggest mixing this season’s trend of ‘mint’ alongwith this pink cuff. Wear this cuff with an all white boyfriend top, mint denims/trousers and coral/pink pumps and strike a pose!

Here’s my take on how to wear this gorgeous statement piece.

Product of the Week: Shoes

These Rebecca Minkoff  ‘Baha’ sandals retail for around $165 and come in two shades of black/natural and neon yellow/natural. Not only is the pair a piece of art but they have got to be the most on-trend shoes. They possess the quality of being woven and neon simultaneously. I love how the leather is woven into a stunning pattern and the friendship bracelet inspired ankle strap that runs along.

I have just recently purchased the neon yellow/natural pair and I can’t wait to receive my parcel!

These shoes can be purchased via Rebecca Minkoff here and here and via Saks Fifth Avenue here

Product of the Week: Bags

I am totally in awe when it comes to the beauty of Charlotte Olympia’s Pandora Plexiglass Clutches. The trend on transparent clutches has been on the radar for quite some time now and lets face it, nothing says, “I’ve got nothing to hide from you” quite like a see-through bag.
Charlotte Olympia has successfully nailed this trend and I give it a 10/10. The clutch comes with three insertable pouches that you can change to your liking. There’s a great variety on the inserts and the clasps of the clutch ranging in different prices but here I’m featuring a rather special one that the brand has designed as a patriotic homage to the Queen Elizabeth II’s Diamond Jubilee.

The three inserts included all depict London in its fullest form. London’s skyline, the bejeweled royal crown and the Union Jack inserts come with a ‘Wish you were here’ postcard embroidered in Charlotte’s own hand. The clasp is a gold spider that has been enameled with the Union Jack.

The clutch retails for about $929.

You can purchase these Pandora clutches at Charlotte Olympia.

A simpler version is available on sale at the site as well. Go grab yourself one of these beauties while they last!

And for those who are hesitant in holding on to a transparent clutch, there’s a beautiful hope out there! The Charlotte Olympia Pandora Feather Clutch from the Spring 2012 collection is a definite recommendation.  The clutch retails for around $995. I personally love the black version! Can’t wait to get my hands on any one of them!
